Cosmetic Acupuncture
Cosmetic Acupuncture, also known as Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, is a non-surgical, holistic technique based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), aimed at nourishing and balancing the entire body to reduce the signs of aging. Points on the body that create balance within the person, as well as points on the face are utilized. These techniques reduce fine lines and wrinkles, bags under the eyes, drooping eyelids, scars, acne and double chins. It enhances collagen formation, improves blood flow and restores complexion.
A course of treatment consists of 10 to 15 treatments (average of 12) administered once or twice a week. Results may occur as soon as the first treatment, but usually are most notable by the 7th treatment After completing a course of treatment, maintenance sessions can prolong the results, usually administered once a month for 2 to 3 months. Thereafter, seasonal sessions can be administered for as long as the results wish to be maintained. Each person responds differently, depending on health status, diet and lifestyle factors.
